Boris Johnson put two insulting fingers up at the over 75's

Let me start by reminding you all about the point about lies in the TRUTH’s editorial, in particular, Boris Johnson’s Brexit bus lies when he was running for the Tory party leadership, resulting in him being the Prime Minister.
The key point of interest from the story, which appeared on the front page of the Evening Standard on 29th May 2019, is Mr. Johnson’s claim that the UK gives the EU £350 million every week.
Mr Johnson. If your claim is true, once the UK leaves the EU there is no legitimate reason for the UK to pay the amount, whatever it is?
Mr Johnson: ‘No reason whatsoever.’
That means you have £18.2 Billion pounds, or whatever the correct amount is, at your disposal per year?
Mr Johnson: ‘Most certainly, yes.’
Before I continue, note the 3 letters in white on a blue background on his ‘battle bus’. NHS.
According to the front page of the Daily Mirror dated 26th August 2019, you, as the head of the British Government, refused to continue subsidising free TV for the over 75’s?
Mr Johnson: ‘That is correct.’
As a license fee payer myself, and you, hopefully, the weekly Direct Debit charge is less than £13.00. £350 million per week, will, in actual fact, pay for 27 million licences (UK population 66 million approx).
Now, I’m not, in anyway, suggesting that you use all of that £350 million to subsidise TV licences, especially since the fee is payable by household and not the individual; however, it goes without saying that a proportion of it can be used to continue subsidising free TV for the over 75’s?
Mr Johnson: ‘I’ll look into that.’
NB. I deliberately added his last response, word for word, from the film ‘the Negotiator’. The purpose being to expose his lies and concern for the elderly. Not just when it comes to the continuation of subsidising free TV for the over 75’s but ‘healthcare’ by the ‘NHS’, those three letters far right and centre of his battle bus, and at a time when, over 100 health carers have died from covid19 while caring for patients and those of a certain age. 70+ being those at the greatest risk according to the Government.
Tom Watson, the shadow Culture Secretary, was ‘appalled’ at Mr. Johnson’s decision not to continue subsidising free TV for the over 75’s. In view of Mr. Johnson’s lie, exposed by the Evening Standard and others, and since he was not elected by the people, come the next General election, and if Labour has the governing majority (the previous being a hung parliament), if you are over 75 when that day comes, and even if Mr. Watson is the new Culture secretary, don’t hold your breath with expectation of the Labour Government showing interest in subsidising free TV for the over 75’s, just like Tony Blair showed no interest in ‘Getting tough on the cause of crime’ by increasing it, and to devastating proportions for both women and children.

The outcome of the 2019 general election, may seem like the lesser of two evils was elected. From the TRUTH’s standpoint, very much a ‘clown’ was elected to be Prime Minister.
